Study of the breeding of small species of zootechnical interest
The aim of the research is to optimize the breeding of small species of zootechnical interest, characterized by shortness of the biological cycle and optimization of the production, transformation and marketing processes of the products, development of farming systems and techniques that ensure the highest standard of animal welfare and provide high quality and quantity products. Scientific expertise falls within the fields of aquaculture, poultry farming and small animal production in general. The most recent scientific activities are focused on the protection of animal welfare by means of the management of environmental parameters and the sustainability of production systems
